Artspace will be hosting a free family-friendly art workshop on Saturday, September 30 as part of Canada-wide Culture Days. Come create your very own tiny theatre set, featuring kitschy characters like ceramic poodles and vintage Barbies. Photograph your masterpiece with your cellphone, and share using your favourite social media outlets for all your friends to see!

This workshop is led by local mixed-media assemblage sculptor, Mike Ondrovcik – who is also a trained silversmith, blacksmith, woodworker and welder. Ondrovcik uses found objects and re-purposed materials to expose their own innate experiential narratives of sadness, loss, humour, and joy.

The workshop will run during ARTspace open hours, between 1-4 PM and is "drop-in" style. All materials (except for camera/device) will be supplied. Please RSVP by emailing ARTspace is accessible and
