Marilyn Hearn
Marilyn Hearn was born in Chatham, Ontario and she grew up drawing on everything. At the age of five, she drew a whole city on her parents' newly painted walls - the city only lasted one day!
Murals, and faux finishes, commissioned and painted on walls and ceilings in homes and businesses, were Marilyn's focus for 20 years. In the past three years she has ventured into the world of fine art, painting on large and small canvases. In her landscapes, Marilyn loves to put each leaf on the canvas individually and create peaceful, meditative scenes that you would love to walk into.
Marilyn paints because " she wants to bring her gift of artistic painting to spread joy, light and happiness to others."
Her paintings are held in private collections across Canada.
