Lisa Marshall: Survival
November 2 - December 3, 2011
Window: Kristy Cons Reach

ARTspace is proud to present Survival by Lisa Marshall, an exhibition featuring encaustic paintings.  In these paintings, microcosms or small organisms are displayed in harsh environments or places that you simply would not expect, such as trees growing in the side of a cliff or plants growing out of dead trees.

While serious issues like Global Warming have influenced the work, Lisa celebrates nature’s ability to survive.

Lisa Marshall, an exhibiting member of ARTspace has also exhibited in Barrie, Ridgetown and Windsor.  She has studied Fine Arts at the Haliburton School of Fine Art, Ontario College of Art and Design, Georgian College and Musee des Beaux-Arts in Montreal.   Her works are also part of many private collections.

This exhibition will be on display from November 2 - December 3, 2011, with an opening reception on Thursday, November 3 at 7pm.
