Connecting art and people in Chatham-Kent
Michaela Lucio creates psychological narratives situated in domestic settings; her latest project “And Nobody Talked to One Another” explores family dynamics, story-telling and memory on an intimate scale through mixed media photo collages, painting, printmaking, and micro-stories. Raised in Chatham-Kent Ontario, Lucio is a graduate of the Art Fundamentals program at the Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning as well as completed her Honours Bachelor of Art at the University of Toronto Mississauga as well as an Advanced Diploma in Art and Art History at the Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning.
