ARTcamp: Drawing the Chatham-Kent Landscape with Scott Livingstone

Gain an understanding of the principles and elements of drawing. This class will introduce the basic techniques and media of drawing. This course focuses on the development of observational skills as you work with line, shape, value, perspective, proportion and composition to create a beautiful Chatham-Kent landscape.

Class runs 10am – 3pm
$60 + HST for ARTspace members / $75 + HST for non-members

ARTcamp: Plein Air Painting with Elizabeth Gaye MacDonald

Follow in the footsteps of Monet, Renoir and Tom Thomson and others who painted en plein air (meaning “in the open air”). This class will focus on painting the landscape in acrylic paint on paper.  Students will also learn how to work effectively outdoors, this class will be held in a sheltered area if the weather is un-cooperative.

Elizabeth is an avid Plein Air painter and the founder of the Windsor & Essex County Plein Air Society.  She received her BFA from the University of Windsor. Participants will be given the address upon registration.

Class runs 10am - 3pm *students are required to meet on site for the class, not at ARTspace
